Oncology massage and skin care therapists are trained to meet people where they are in their experience with cancer and apply a highly individualized massage or facial treatment to comfort, nurture and support them in their process.
When going through cancer, keeping a sense of normality is one of the most important coping mechanisms we have. It’s easy to get lost, especially when it comes to our appearance and the way we feel.
Arch Wellness offers a safe space to address your massage and skin care concerns and how they can affect both your physical and emotional well-being.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a unique, gentle type of massage technique that promotes lymph to drain out of a limb into an area that drains normally. The lymphatic system helps process waste and absorbs fluids. After surgery, the lymphatic channels are disrupted and take about two to three months to make new connections. These fluids can harden, which is often painful. A post-operative massage prevents and treats this hardening of fluids by reducing inflammation and promoting circulation to the affected area.
Chronic venous insufficiency: This happens when your leg veins aren't working effectively, making it hard for your blood to return to your heart from your legs.
In addition to improving lymphatic circulation, MLD also increases blood flow in deep and superficial veins. MLD will be performed as a customized session for full-body, or targeted areas post-operation. Lymphatic drainage is particularly beneficial for those who are experiencing: Recovery from physical trauma (surgery, chemo, injuries, breast cancer, prenatal, postnatal, illnesses etc.)
